These terms and conditions apply to your use of the express-instruments.com website and all orders placed with Express Instruments. By visiting or shopping at express-instruments.com you agree to accept these conditions so we have done our best to make sure they are as straightforward and easy to read as possible. Please read them carefully. Thank you.
How our contract with you works
When you place an order with us we will send you an order acknowledgement notice. This recognises that we have received your order. Your order is then processed, we take payment and the product(s) are packed and despatched.
Please note that we can decline to supply the goods although we will do our best to ensure that this never happens. We also reserve the right not to fulfil your order for any reason if, for example we have made an error on the price or the model you have ordered becomes unavailable. In the event of any of these circumstances occurring and if payment has been taken, we will refund you the cost of the product.
From time to time we do make changes to our website. We are entitled to do this without giving notice but the terms and conditions that applied when you placed your order will continue to apply to those products.
We try to keep as many of our products available.
- Product descriptions
We do our best to make sure that our product descriptions, dimensions, specifications and so on are accurate. However due to regular product development and improvement, these may change without notice. If on receipt you find that one of our products is not as described and you are not happy with it, you may return it to us. Provided that it is unused, complete and in its original, undamaged packaging, we will refund you with the purchase price.

All customer reviews of products are the opinions of our customers and are not to be considered part of the specification or description of the product. Express Instruments will not be liable should any of the information contained within a customer review should prove to be inaccurate.
All products offered for sale on our website are priced excluding VAT and delivery unless specifically stated otherwise.
Payment and online security
To ensure your details are kept safe and sound, we use recognised providers for all our online transactions and we do all we can to ensure your details are kept safe and secure. If for any reason you'd rather not type your credit card details into our site, then you can of course contact us and we'll take your order.
We deliver to all postcodes using recognised couriers and methods of despatch.
Custom / Duty Fees:
When shipping to other countries and depending on the original location of the item, custom fees, taxes, etc.. are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for delays caused by local customs authorities. Please note that due to customs procedures, delivery times may exceed expected dates.
Refunds and cancellations
If you are not happy with your products or you change your mind, you may cancel your order within 48h of receipt of the goods and receive a refund. You may cancel your order in one of two ways:
A). If you have not yet received your goods, you should send us a notice of cancellation. This can be by email and must include details of your full name, address, description of your order and the order number.
b). If you have received the goods and have changed your mind or are not happy with the product (s), you may return the goods to us provided that they are unopened, remain in their original packaging and include the original invoice along with all accessories and components ordered as part of the same transaction.
Subject to these conditions we will refund you the purchase price of the goods after they have been inspected by our quality control department to ensure the product(s) have not been used and remain in new condition. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered them to you in error. Our refund and cancellation policy applies to all accessories or components ordered at the time of the original order. Any missing accessories or components which were part of the original order but are not returned to us in new condition will also be charged for.
Once we receive notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with the details in these terms and conditions) any sum debited from your credit or debit card in relation to your order will be re-credited to that credit or debit card account as soon as possible and no later than 28 days from the date of your request, provided that the goods you wish to return are received back by us in the condition in which they were delivered to you and within the time frame detailed.
What about damaged/faulty goods?
All products are inspected before despatch and quality control and packing of your order is taken by great care. However, in the unlikely event that you receive goods from us that are damaged or appear to be faulty, please take the following steps:
A). Keep all original packaging - and if possible photograph the shipment in the condition it was received. This will help us to determine the nature of the damage and to make improvements in packing and shipping where appropriate.
B).Contact us before returning your product(s). Our products are technical in nature and it is possible that an item can appear faulty when in fact it just requires the correct procedure to be followed. We can provide this guidance quickly and easily over the phone.
If an item is received in a damaged state or is genuinely faulty and you'd rather send it back and subject to the items being returned in the condition they were received, we will credit the full transaction back to your credit or debit card.
Information and how to contact usWe will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. If you have any questions we hope you will be able to find some of the answers in the Glossary, the product instruction manuals or in our video clips. However, if you want to check something, have a question that we haven’t covered on the website feel free to contact us.
How we use your personal information
When you place an order with Express Instruments we will need your name, company name, email address, payment and address details in order to process your request. A contact number will be needed so that we can get in touch if there is a problem with your order. We may also, unless you inform us otherwise, provide our couriers with your phone number in case they need to reach you to arrange the delivery of your order. We will also use your information to inform you about similar products or services we provide although you can opt out from this at any time by simply letting us know. By accepting these terms and conditions you also agree that we may pass your personal information to our credit reference and fraud prevention agencies and that they may keep a record of any search that they do. We will not give your personal details to any other third party without your consent.
